Exploring New Options In Printing
At ECOPLATE Exhibition
By Yusrin Junaidi
Bandar Seri
Begawan - An Ecoplate exhibition that explores the world's
first and only inkjet computer-to-plate-press (ICTP) system was held
yesterday at the Orchid Garden Hotel (Cesar 1 and Cesar 2). The
exhibition was organised by Davy Fast Print Enterprise in
cooperation with INNOTEAM Sdn Bhd.
The event was launched by Freddy
Wong, Marketing Manager of Davy Fast Print Enterprise and Dato'
Thomas Khung Fu En, Group Chairman/Managing Director of INNOTEAM Sdn
Bhd.
INNOTEAM
is introducing a new breakthrough ICTP technology-ECOPLATE system,
with no process plate that can be imaged on large format inkjet
printers and taken directly to the press for printing. It helps to
save cost, time and labour and no proprietary CTF or plate setter is
necessary.
ECOPLATE
can be imaged on any inkjet printer in the normal manner, using
pigment-based ink. Epson inkjet printers are currently recommended
considering their high print resolution (up to 2880 dpi x1440 dpi),
variable dot size technology and accurate four-colour registration
capability. High quality tonal gradation and detail, perfect solid
and reverse text reproduction, and dot gain conforming to industry
standards are achievable using Epson 7800 and 9800 stylus Pro inkjet
printers for imaging ECOPLATE.
With the in-house printing
facility, ECOPLATE system is not only enhancing the documentation
security but also creating another business opportunity for the
printers with the new high speed printing technology.
The exhibition opens from Sam until
5pm at Orchid Garden Hotel. Members of the public are welcomed to
share their experience with the world's first and only inkjet
computer-to-plate-press and discover more about the printing
technology. -- Courtesy of Borneo
