Kg Pulaie Mosque Holds Weekly Religious Talk
By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with the New Year Hijrah 1428, the Kampong Pulaie Mosque takmir committee is currently organising a series of religious talks (ceramah) and Subuh lectures (kuliah Subuh) that will last for several weeks.

As part of the activities, a religious talk was held at the mosque on Thursday night after the mass Maghrib prayer. Malaysian religious expert Dato Hj Ismail bin Kamus presented the talk. Also at the mosque, religious officer Awg Hj Hambali delivered a Subuh lecture on the topic of Satan and its conversation with the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), early yesterday morning.

Meanwhile Hj Ibrahim Hj Mohamad, an executive member of the mosque's takmir committee, invited members of the public to come for Friday Suboh prayers at the mosque so they can listen to religious talks by religious experts after the prayers. The talks are intended to help strengthen their Islamic faith.

"Worshippers will be treated to drinks and food presented by the takmir committee and other Muslims," he said. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
