DBP Holds Meeting On Pharmaceutical Terms

Bandar Seri Begawan-The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP), through the Language Development Section, organised a meeting on acceptable pharmaceutical terms in the Malay language yesterday at the Ministry of Health, Berakas.

Present at the event were DBP Terminology Section's head Dyg Hjh Saddiah Ramli, officers Professor Madya Dr Haji Jaludin Haji Chuchu and Mohd Azurin Othnian and assistant officer Mohd Norsah Shahrul Mazlan.

Also in attendance were 20 senior officials of the Ministry of Health, led by Dayang Rosni binti Haji Jair.

The main objectives of the meeting included evaluating the public use of pharmaceutical terms in the Malay language and assessing the extent of comprehension of MABBIM pharmaceutical terms among the public.

The conclusion of the meeting will be forwarded to the 211 Expert MABBIM Meet in Jakarta, Indonesia.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
