Special Talk At Religious School To Mark Hijrah

Bandar Seri Begawan - Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak DamitArabic Religious Secondary Girls' School yesterday organised a religious talk to celebrate Hijrah 1428.

Besides enlivening the celebration of the new Islamic year, the event was to foster closer ties between teachers and students at the school.

The school's principal, Ustazah Datin Piah Hj Mohd Saat, vice principal Ustazah Hjh Sarimah Hj Ahmad as well as 400 teachers and students attended the talk.

Imam Hj Zainal Hj Osman from the Islamic Dakwah Centre was on hand to deliver the religious talk, in which he touched on the significance and symbolic meaning of Hijrah.
