Education Specialists At Hanoi Meet

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two local education specialists joined policymakers and experts from UK, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippine, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam for a recent two-day symposium in Hanoi, Vietnam.

One of the local experts was appointed to attend the symposium by the Ministry of Education while the other was a British Council-appointed participant.

The symposium produced proposals for co-operation and research and encourages the development of strategic alliances and networks.

Nguyen Thien Nhan, Vietnam Minister of Education and Training and Bill Rammel, UK Minister of State for Lifelong Learning and Further and Higher Education also attended the symposium.

Organised by the British Council in co-ordination with Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, the symposium on International Education and Employability in Hanoi ended Wednesday.
