Minister Visits Kota Batu Schools

Bandar Seri Begawan - Minister of Education, Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman made a working visit to Dato-Gandi Primary School and Sungai Besar SultanAbdul Bubin (SAB) Primary School along Jalan Kota Batu on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by the permanent secretary and deputy permanent secretary, directors and senior officers in the Ministry of Education.

At the Dato Gandi Primary School, he was briefed on the development and challenges it faced. Sand erosion had accumulated at the school compound and it tormented the school, especially during the rainy season, he was told.

Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman said he would take the appropriate action to ensure the safety of the school population especially during the rainy season, according to a ministry statement.

At the Sungai Besar Sultan Abdul Bubin (S AB) Primary School, the minister observed its classroom, computer rooms, library and other education facilities.
