Bandar Seri
Begawan - Civil servants engaged in translation of history
textbooks from Malay to English and vice versa attended a five-day
workshop where they were taught how to use advanced computer
technology in their work area.
Organised

with the cooperation of Civil Service Institute, Prime Minister's
Department, 28 civil servants took part in the workshop.
Most of the participants were of
the view that the workshop had done a world of good to their
translation skills and the use of advanced computer technology has
further enhanced their career prospects.

workshop organised by the History Centre was a great opportunity to

daily life, including the place of work," said Maswara.
She added that the course will help
the translators in writing multi-lingual history books of high
standard.
A freelance participant, Datin
