SCB Alto Accept Telbru Bill
Payment

Begawan - The signing of the service agreement for bill
payment services between Telekom Brunei Bhd (Te1Bru) and Standard
Chartered Bank -(SCB) yesterday will provide both customers of
Te1Bru and SCB the convenience to pay their TelBru bills at counters
at all SCB branches or by way of Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), ATM,
Direct Debit and SCB's Credit Cards.
Yesterday's signing ceremony held
at the Dewan Wijaya of the TelBru Headquarters in Berakas, saw
Managing Director of TelBru Awg Song Kin Koi and CEO of SCB Dyg Tiew
Siew Chuen representing the respective parties.
Witnessing the signing of the
service agreement were Manager of TelBru Corporate Finance, Dyg
Noorhayati DP Hj Abdullah, and SCB's General Manager Shared
Distribution, Awg Andy Ang.
The Managing Director of TelBru
noted that with SCB always providing comprehensive facilities to all
its users, he is delighted and confident that the agreement will
benefit customers of both parties in having greater convenience in
making bill payments.
The CEO of SCB said, "We would like
to thank Te1Bru for the opportunity to partner them. This agreement
with TelBru underlines our commitment to be `The Right Partner' and
leading by example. It is our pleasure to offer this service through
21 more locations in Brunei Darussalam."
The CEO of SCB said that in
addition to TeIBru's 14 business centres are seven SCB branches
nationwide, along with a further 14 offsite locations where TelBru
customers can access a host of services.
"For those who wish to stay at home
and enjoy their leisure time, they can also take the benefit of
issuing a Standing Instruction to pay their monthly bills, free of
