Farewell Dinner For Chinese Ambassador

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Hockien Association hosted a farewell dinner on Tuesday night for the outgoing Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, Ms Yang Yanyi.

The function was held at a restaurant in Gadong.

Present at the function were executive committee members of the association and embassy staff. Also present were Pehin Dato PadukaAwg Goh King Chin and Pehin Onn Siew Siong.

Both the Chinese ambassador and Chairman of the Hockien Association, Mr Lim Seng Kok, in their speeches touched on the warm and cordial relationship and close cooperation between Brunei and China.
