Hornbill School Organises
Expressive Arts Week

Begawan - Hornbill School in Seria recently held its first
Expressive Arts Week with lots of exciting activities.
The week got off with fantastic
performances by the First Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR), Khukuri Dance
Group, Swan Music together with Mr Ceasar Centano on the guitar and
the school's Nepali dancers: Bhawana Paija, Apeksha Gurung, Prerana
Gurung and Anjalina Gurung.
These performances were followed by
workshops with the First RGR and Khukuri Dance Group where children
were given an opportunity to learn a short Khukuri dance. There were
also two workshops for the juniors with Swan Music where children
were able to play various instruments and sing with professional
musicians.
The week drew to a close with two
piano recitals presented by Mr Steve Reynolds and the school's
pianists, Sydney Ashley and Moses Tan.

promoting a wide diversity of music, dance and drama and to develop
