Removal Of Illegal Ad Signboards Lauded

Bandar Seri Begawan - The recent action taken by the Town and Country Planning and Public Works Department in removing illegal advertising billboards has been applauded.

A number of sub-standard signboards were removed to prevent mishaps, including those at the Tutong Camp's traffic light junction.

The Head of Enforcement at the Town and Country Planning Department (DCCA or Development Control Competent Authority) recently said they would "put their measures into action in a more uncompromising manner."

It is hoped that those responsible in creating such eyesores will take notice and clean up their act. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
