First Book On Local Culture Now Available

Bandar Seri Begawan - The first book on Bruneian culture is now available in the country. The 14-page material is designed by Kandarzari Krafts International to educate the general public and preserve local traditions in line with a move initiated by the Brunei Museums Department.

It contains technically sharp depictions of items drawn by an American illustrator in the hopes of being more user-friendly and easier for readers to understand.

The publication launched in Singapore last November is written in English and tells the Sanggul Lintang history. It can also be a souvenir item for tourists. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
