Festivities Knock On Seria Old
Folks Home's Door

Begawan - The Singapore Association yesterday made a-generous
contribution to the elderly at the Seria Old Folks Home.
Leading the six members of the
Singapore Association was their community services chairman Alley
Neo. Among the donated items sere food, cleaning utensils, clothes
and Chinese medicines. Ten elderly also received "am, pows" and
Mandarin oranges in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year
celebrations.
Meanwhile, the newly formed Chung
Hua Middle School KB parents-teachers association (PTA) organised a
spring-cleaning at the old folks home, involving 30 secondary five
students, 10 teachers and parents, led by the PTA's chairperson
Peggy Hu Man Chad and vice chairperson Terry D Jayasuriya.
The association also contributed
brooms, clcanung utensils, decorative items, food and toiletries to
the elderly as well as "ang pows'", goodie bags and clothes. -- Courtesy of Borneo
