Chung Sun Does Chung Hwa School Proud

Bandar Seri Begawan - He Is intelligent, smart, outgoing and energetic and he is also the top student in last year's `0' level results with 10 `A's. Chan Chung Sun of Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB, shared his secret of success as he topped thousands of students who sat for `0' Level last year.

Being the only person to score 10 `A's in last year `0' Level in Brunei Darussalam, his secret of success is to really understand the materials that teachers teach in class.

In an interview, Chan Chung Sun, who will be going to Maktab Duli to further his education,' said, "Understanding the subjects is very important and fully understands what the teachers have taught is vital, or else it will be very hard."_

"Listen to teachers and when there are questions, approach the teachers for answers," he added. The 16 year-old, whose ambition is to be a lecturer, said, "I enjoy teaching, sometimes when my friends need help in their studies, I enjoy teaching them."

Chan Chung Sun is an active member in drama classes and he has taken part in various competitions organised by the school.

His parents, Mr Chan Thian Pub and Mdm Leong Swee Wah, are proud of him. His father, who works in the construction sector, said he has a good memory and is a fast learner.

His form teacher, Miss Millisanthosh, said, "Chung Sun is very helpful and he never turned down his friends and schoolmates when they needed help in their studies. I am very proud of him that he could score 10 `A's in his `0' Level."
