Promotion At Fire &, Rescue Dept

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two Fire and Rescue Department officers were promoted yesterday during a ceremony for senior officers at the officers' mess at the Old Airport in Berakas.

Assistant Director Lim Hock Guan was promoted to Acting Deputy Director of Fire and Rescue Department.

He is also a senior officer at the National Disaster Management Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs. His previous post was senior superintendent.

Assistant Director Hjh Siti Mayang Binti Hj Hussin was promoted to Assistant Director, Planning, Training and Personnel Section, Fire and Rescue Department. Her previous post was senior superintendent and head of communications and conscription. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
