Lucky Draw To Mark World Water Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Water Services is organising a "Pay and Win" water bill lucky draw competition from February 5 to 17 in conjunction with the World Water Day celebration.

Customers have to settle their latest water bills in full in order to enter the water bill lucky draw and souvenirs will be given to every entry received, while stocks last.

This is the second time the Department of Water Services is holding such an event. The department had earlier launched several activities in conjunction with the World Water Day celebration.

Agnes Lee of the Water Services Department said that the theme of this year's celebration is "Coping with Water Scarcity" and she called on the public to reduce water consumption and to be aware of the importance of saving water. The public can get the entry forms at the Department of Electrical Service Office at Jalan Elizabeth Dua, BSB; Department of Water Services headquarters at Jalan Tasek Lama; Water Section Jerudong, Jalan Jerudong; Public Works Department, Jalan Singa Menteri, Kuala Belait; Water Section, Jalan Tengah, Seria; JKR Office, Serambangun, Tutong; JKR Office, Bangar, Temburong; Pos Services counters; and JKR headquarters in Old Airport, Berakas.

Entry forms must be returned to payment counters on or before February 17.

All winners will be notified by telephone only and prizes can be collected from the water bill payment counter, ground floor, Department of Water Services, Jalan Tasek Lama, after March 22. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
