2nd Mini Travel Fair In KB

Begawan - The second Mini Travel Fair will be launched on
February 2 at the Soon Lee Mega Mart, Jalan Pandan 7, Kuala Belait.
Royal BruneiAirlines and its
subsidiary, Abacus Distribution Systems (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, announced
this yesterday.
Captain Sheikh Rashid bin Sheikh
Haji Salam, RBA Senior Vice President, will officiate the two-day
Abacus Holiday Travel Fair's launch.
Travel industry players including
airlines, national tourism offices and travel agents will promote
and showcase their offerings to an expected 1,000 visitors.
Attractive prizes to be won include
a digital camera, an MP3, air tickets to Saigon, Vietnam and
Surabaya, Indonesia and holiday packages to Bali, Indonesia.
Following the success of the Kuala
Belait Travel Fair held at the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre last
year, RBA -and Abacus Brunei are confident in making this upcoming
event a great success this year, said Pg Roslee bin PSR Pg Haji Jaya,
General Manager of Abacus Brunei.
The travel fair from loam to 8pm
will feature nine booths participated by RBA, Brunei Tourism
Development, Baiduri Bank, Anthony Tours and Travel Agency, Century
Travel Centre, Freme Travel Service, Jasra Harrisons Shipping and
Agency, Ken Travel and Trading and Pan Bright Travel Service.
They will showcase special deals
and promotions for travel across the globe.
"The presence of Brunei Tourism and
Brunei Association of Hotels will significantly help Royal Brunei
Airlines and travel agents promote domestic tourism," said Abd Halim
Haji Abd Rahman, Sales and Marketing Manager of Abacus Brunei.
The travel fair aims to serve and
provide a platform for travel agents to acquire new customers and to
show their support for the Brunei Tourism Development's initiative
in promoting domestic tourism through its "KNK" or "Kenali Negara
Kitani", he said.
RBA will be offering discounts on
airfares and great holiday packages, said Dk Rodzi Pg Haji Abd
Rahman, RBA Sales Manager Brunei.
Every new member signing up for
Royal Skies during the two-day fair will get instant 2000 miles and
a chance to walk away with a prize.
The mini travel fair is supported
by Baiduri Bank Berhad, American Express, Telekom Brunei Berhad,
Brunei Tourism Development and Royal Brunei Catering.
The fair will be an opportunity for
those seeking affordable and well-packaged holidays in the upcoming
