Ministry Of Culture, Youth And Sports Holds Religious Event

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a religious event in conjunction with the celebration of the Islamic New Year Hijrah 1426, at the ministry's premises.

The guest of honour at the ceremony was Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Paduka (Dr.) Haji Awang Hussain bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Mohd Yusof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Also present were senior officials, officers and staff members of the ministry.

The ceremony began with the recital of al-Fatihah by Ustaz Minfadillah bin Haji Abdul Majid.

It was later followed by a welcoming remark delivered by Haji Haris Othman, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

After the welcoming speech, An-Nur group did a Nasyid performance.
