Mosque Committees Hold Ma'al Hijrah Walkathon

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 100 participants yesterday morning took part in the MA'AL Hijrah 1426 walkathon co-organised by Executive Committee members of the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong, Al-Ameerah Jerudong Mosque, the Jubli Perak SHHB Mosque in Kg Jangsak and the Surau of Kg Tanjong Bunut.

The walkathon began with a massaerobic exercise. The chief guest at the event was Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Awg. Judin, who was accompanied by his wife.

The men's walkathon began at the compound of the Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong and ended at the Jubli Perak SHHB Mosque in Kg Jangsak.

The women's event meanwhile started off at the Kg Tanjong Bunut Surau and also ended at the Jubli Perak SHHB Mosque. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
