Brunei Wasps To Host Winless
Kelantan TNB Tonight
By Dannie Abu Basrah
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Brunei will be in action tonight at the Hassanal
Bolkiah National Stadium as they host Kelantan TNB in their fourth
Group A fixture of the 2005 Malaysian Premier League.
Only three games are left after
tonight's match, beginning with an away game to Kuala Lumpur on
March 6 before hosting mighty Selangor on March 13 and finally
finishing with a trip to Kedah on March 20.
The second round will start on
March 27.
At the moment, Brunei head coach
Amir Alagic is setting his sights only on tonight's game where he
knows a win will help boost the squad's morale before taking on the
stronger teams next month.
Presently, the Wasps are in fifth
spot with only three points to their credit after having played
three games while visitors Kelantan TNB are still winless.
But the Wasps will surely not
underestimate their opponents' capability when they step on to the
pitch tonight taking extra precautions from the experience in the
previous game against a Melaka side that were also without a-point
before they met.
Alagic will go into the match with
an offensive mindedstrategy as the team welcomes back experienced
hard-tackling midfielder Ak Sallehuddin after serving his
suspension.
Meanwhile in other matches tonight,
league leaders Selangor host bottom side Pulau Pinang NTFA, Kuala
Lumpur take on Kedah and third placed Selangor MK Land will meet
Melaka. --
