Safety nets, please

Recent photo shows an uncovered truck carrying scrap metal along the Telisai-Tutong Highway. Despite complaints made by road users regarding irresponsible drivers who do not use a safety net over their loaded trucks, some are still ignoring the rules and posing danger to others. A Bulletin reader has expressed concerns after his windshield was hit although luckily, there was no harm done. A strict penalty should be given to those who fail to use the safety net so that further hazard could be minimised.
