Toys in training for Olympics
Berlin -
Teddy bears will be measuring their strength against Barbie at the
world's first Olympic Winter Games for toys.
The events in Berlin will include
"ski jumping from the 400 centimetre ramp," where participants get
three attempts at flying as far as they can, "relay gondolas," where
the toys' "trainers" use a handle to wind their team to the top as
fast as possible and "Yetigate," where the cuddly athletes have to
pass through the unpredictable yeti's door as often as possible in 90
seconds without getting caught.
The Games, which will take place on
March 6, have been organised by toy lovers from Club Real. --
