German Envoy Hosts Dinner For
Dubai VIP

Begawan - The German Embassy Thursday hosted a dinner for
Ashraf Zaalok, the Vice President of the Millennium Millionaire Group,
Dubai at the German Embassy .
Among the guests attending the
reception were Pehin Orang Kaya Dato Paduka Awg Hj Hazair bin Hj
Abdullah, the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, and
his spouse, Datin Hjh Rossnah; Awg Hj Mohd Hamid, Permanent Secretary
at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources; Baroness Gisela Von
Zedlitz from Germany; the ambassadors and high commissioners of
Singapore, Korea, Japan and India; and, Collin Chan, the Empire Hotel
& Country Club Sales Director.
Mr
Zaalok and his team are here on a one-week visit to write up a feature
on Brunei, promoting her as an attractive but not-fully-known tourist
destination primarily among Arab and European tourists.
Meanwhile, the Empire Hotel stated in
a press release yesterday that it was delighted to play host to Mr
Zaalok, whose visit here was initiated by Conrad Cappell, Ambassador
of the Federal Republic of Germany, and supported by Brunei Tourism,
RBA and Sunshine Borneo.
At the hotel, Mr Zaalok was taken on
a full tour hosted by Hafiza Mohammad, the Assistant Marketing
Communications Manager of The Empire Hotel and Country Club, to have a
look at the variety of luxurious rooms, suites and villas as well as
the impressive range of sporting and recreational facilities
available.
Mr
Zaalok had commented that he was incredibly impressed with the
magnificent architectural design of the hotel, with all its
exceptional details and fine workmanship. --
