Car Owners Call For Lower Repair Bills

Bandar Seri Begawan - Vehicle owners said prices of vehicle spare parts need to be lowered to match the prices at border towns otherwise they would not think twice of border hopping to have their cars repaired.

Car owners called for cooperation from local establishments to lower the prices.

"I sent my car for replacement of a timing belt and I was charged S600 along with other replacements which the vehicle may not need.

This is absurd but I have to do it here as the belt was nearly severed," said an owner. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
