Taipei's Representative Hosts Dinner For Journalists By Achong Tanjong

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Representative of the Taipei Economic and Culture Office to Brunei on Thursday night hosted a Chinese New Year dinner for local press at the Empire Hotel and Country Club in Jerudong.

The dinner was also held in appreciation of and to thank the local press for highlighting the office's activities.

Present at the function were Dr. James Chen, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Culture Office to Brunei, and his wife Maria as well as Samuel Liu.

Some 12 reporters from newspapers, including from Borneo Bulletin, were invited to the dinner where the highlight was a lucky draw. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
