Crown Prince Graces High Tea For 31st Royal Birthday

Bandar Seri Begawan – His Royal Highness General Prince Haji Al Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah attended a High Tea Reception to mark the Crown Prince’s 31st Birthday Anniversary yesterday.

The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) organised the birthday reception.

Upon arrival at the Officer's Mess in Berakas Garrison, the Crown Prince was greeted by YAM Pengiran Major General Pengiran Haji Ibnub Ba'asith, Deputy Minister of Defence, and Pehin Major General Dato Haji Awang Halbi, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen.

The Crown Prince then cut the birthday cake and received a souvenir from the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

At the function, His Royal Highness also received greetings from officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

The Crown Prince was born on February 17, 1974 at Istana Darul Hana.

His Royal Highness was conferred the rank of General during His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei’s visit to the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces on 25 March last year.

It marked an important historic chapter for Brunei, particularly for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
