Students On Educational Trip To Temburong

Bangar – A group of students from the Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Secondary School are making a three-day educational trip to Temburong to research on Brunei's native forests in Bukit Patoi, the Timber industry and Padi farming in the district.

The Form Five students srrived in Temburong yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon, the students visited a Sawmill in Kg Nagalang where they learned more about Brunei's timber industry.

There are about four sawmills in Temburong.

A teacher, who led the group, said those joining the trip are mostly students who take up Geography subject for 'O' level.

Later, the students visited Brunei's native forest in Bukit Patoi where they learned about the forest, its rich diversity in its flora and fauna.

Today, the students will go to Kampong Lekiun, to have a closer look on Padi planting and to know more on their farming techniques.
