Alleged Electrical Thief Remanded

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 33-year-old green IC holder who allegedly committed theft of several electrical items was remanded for a week at the Central Police Station for further investigation to be conducted.

The defendant, Kindang G. Totong is facing a charge of stealing one electric drill, one grinder and one jigsaw electric saw on February 5 this year in the vicinity of CAD-PRO contractor, B30 Taman Puri PGGMB, Jalan Tutong.

All the items belong to the said establishment.

He is facing imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years, or a fine, or both if convicted. The case is fixed for mention again on March 3 at 9am. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
