Youths Invited To Join Beach Sports In Tutong

Tutong District - The Youth and Sports Department of the Tutong district encouraged youths from the district to participate in beach sports activities that will be held at the Pantai Seri Kenangan on March 27.

The event will kick off at lam and end at 5.30pm.

The Youth Beach Sports will be held in conjunction with the first term school holidays.

The activity aims to create awareness amongst youths on the importance of good health through recreational and physical activities. It also hopes to create an interest on the various types of beach sports activities.

The beach sports will be a fun way to uncover the talents of youths and to provide them with a way to beneficially occupy their time, as well as to strengthen ties amongst friends and family.

Among the activities planned include beach volleyball for female participants and beach football for male participants.

Groups representing schools, associations, departments or companies need to seek permission before entering.

Youths under 18 also need to seek permission from either their parents or a guardian before participating. All participants should also be present 30 minutes before the competition begins.
