Four National Day Babies In Belait

Kuala Belait
- The Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait recorded the
birth of four new babies yesterday, coinciding with the 21st
anniversary of the National Day of Brunei.
The four babies, two males and two
females, were born between 3am and 8.30am yesterday. Both mothers
and babies are in good condition.
The first to be born was a baby
girl who was delivered at 3.36am by Dayang Semia Anak Dewat, 30.
The baby, who weighed 2.86kg, is
the fourth child in her family. Dayang Lee Phui Yin, 28, gave birth
to a baby boy weighing 3.68kg around 5.30am. This is the third child
in the family.
Another baby girl weighing 2.695kg
was delivered at around lam by Dayang Faridah binti Zaini, 25. This
is the second child in the family.

Siti Liha binti Mohamad, 31, gave birth to a baby girl weighing
3.03kg at around 8.30am on Wednesday.
All the four mothers expressed
their happiness for giving birth on such a memorable day when the
nation was celebrating the 21st National Day.
They hoped that the babies will
grow up to be patriotic individuals who will strive for the
betterment of the nation. --
