Relegation threat remains for West
Brom and Saints
London -
Relegation is still a daunting possibility for both West Bromwich
Albion and Southampton following their 0-0 draw at the Hawthorns on
Tuesday which was of little use to either side.
Albion remain rooted to the foot of
the Premiership, perhaps unsurprising as boss Bryan Robson's side have
won just one league game at The Hawthorns since the start of October.
As for the Saints, although they
leapfrog Norwich into 18th with this point, they have now not won away
from home for 16 matches, stretching back to April last year.
Should Albion be relegated they can
look back on these last few weeks as pivotal, taking a miserable two
points off relegation rivals Crystal Palace, Norwich and now
Southampton.
