Brunei Youths To Co-Organise
Asia-Europe Forum
By Izam S. Ya'akub
Bandar Seri
Begawan - The Young Entrepreneur Association of Brunei (YEAB)
agreed to co-organise the Asian European Young Entrepreneurs Forum (AEYEF)
along with the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, later
this year.
The forum aims to facilitate an
open dialogue and exchange of views on the varying business cultures
in Asia and Europe.
It also aims to help young
entrepreneurs build business networks and links and gain better
insights into the present status of tomorrow's key business sectors.
YEAB
members attended an activities meeting recently, where social and
business events were discussed and organised.
Lisa Dato Paduka Ibrahim, the
President of YEAB, said the mixture of social and business events is
intended to strike a balance between social and professional
contacts and to help members to network.
Among the events were workshops,
which relate to the business process, which will assist members with
the management of their businesses.
Informal dialogue sessions with
five government ministries were proposed to help members gain an
insight on each ministry and their vision, and help realise it.
To outline potential future
opportunities for Young Entrepreneurs in Brunei Darussalam, meetings
with prominent figures in Brunei have also been planned.
