Final Preparations For National Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - The final rehearsal for the 21st National Day, which will be celebrated today at the Taman Hj Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital, drew almost 20,000 participants comprising students, members of the uniformed agencies, civil servants, associations as well as from the private sectors.

While participants were eagerly fine tuning their field performances for the event, scores of individuals were also working hard behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Their contributions and efforts are likely to go unnoticed, but these individuals are a crucial part of the whole celebration. They worked late into the night to ensure today's event would be glitch free. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
