Locals To Vie For Honours At Malaysian Speech Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Speakers' Club will host the Area K6 International Speech and Table Topics Contest against Malaysians at Seameo-Voctech on Jalan Pasar Baharu in Gadong.

It is open to the public and will be held from 10.15am on February 27. Tickets for the contest will include lunch.

Held every year, the event is meant to showcase the best that K6 has to offer. K6 comprises of clubs in Brunei Darussalam and Labuan.

The winners of both contests will go on to represent Area K6 at the Division K Contest to be held at Kota Kinabalu in March 2005.

The Brunei Speakers' Club is being represented by Melanie Chin and Geoff Andrew in the International Speech Contest as well as Nor Amalina Ali Yusri and Geoff Andrew for the Table Topics Contest.
