Art Attack And Photo Contest For
World Water Day

Begawan - The Department of Water Services is organising an
`Art Attack' and photography competition for schools and the public to
celebrate World Water Day on March 22.
The theme for the contest this year
with “Water for Life” Its objective is to convey message the
significance of water in our daily life.
Besides this, it aims to highlight
the public's creativity with the intent of nurturing their talents and
inspiring them to new height of expressions.
The `Art Attack' competition will be
held at Taman Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien and has five categories
open to all.
Entry forms are available at all
payment outlets of the Water Services Department as well as the main
post offices in each district and also on the day of the competition.
However, for Category One (the public
and higher institutes) and Two (secondary schools and colleges),
copies of the form have to be submitted to the Department of Water
Services in Tasek Lama before March 3 or faxed to 2225798.
The winning artworks, paintings and
colourings will be exhibited at the lobby of Public Works Department's
headquarters. According to its rules and regulations, entries must be
original and a recent work not submitted for previous public contests
or exhibitions. --
