Public Awareness Talk On Caring Sea Turtle

Bandar Seri Begawan - Public Awareness Talk on Rehabilitating and Caring for Sea Turtles was held yesterday.

More than 50 Primary Five students from the :lusa Laila Puteri Primary School attended it..

Also present were Pg Shamsu Pg Hj Radar, Senior Administration Officer, and Dr Rolanda Abletes, Assistant Administrator.

The talk was held in Gadong and delivered by Awg Khairil, Fisheries Department Officer.

It highlighted on the issues of possible future tortoise extinction.

In the Sultanate, sea turtles are protected by the Wildlife Protection Act, under supervision of the Museums Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
