Championship For Brunei’s Remote
Control Cars
By Zaabah Har
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Owners of long-distance remote control cars, who have
been waiting long for a time to test their models on the right track,
may do so today at a racing competition.
Registration for the contest is still
open for anyone who wishes to participate and this can be done at the
VVIP Parking Space in Jerudong Park, where it is scheduled to take
place.
Owners just need to bring their
models and B$3 for the registration fee. It will start in the morning
and last for the whole day.
Organised
by Gabungan No Limits, the event here was a way of giving support to
an IT transfer as well as youth recreational activities.
Sponsored by CH Hobbies, ANATI
Trading, Merah Delima Enterprise and Little M Enterprise, the event
carries a theme of `Brunei Mini Dragger Championship 2005.'
Among the attractive prizes waiting
to be won in this long distances race are trophies, hampers as well as
several accessories and parts for remote control cars. --
