His Majesty Winds Up State Visit

Perth -
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei spent in Perth
the last leg of his State Visit to Australia by holding a meeting with
Lieutenant General John Sanderson, the Governor of Western Australia.
Radio Television Brunei (RTB)
reported that the meeting was held at the
Government House in Perth, the capital of Western Australia.
The Government House is a historical
building that dates back to 1859. It is the official residence of the
Governor of Western Australia.
His Majesty was briefed by the
Governor of the historical aspects of the building.
During the official luncheon, His
Majesty acknowledged with appreciation the warmth, friendship and
generosity accorded to the people of Brunei as well as the goodwill
that has developed between the people of Brunei and Western Australia.
His Majesty later visited Australia's
Special Elite Force based in Western Australia.
His Majesty's programme at the
Special Air Services Regiment included the tour of the facility,
witnessing a live fire demonstration and joining officers of the force
for afternoon tea.
The Special Air Services Regiment is
modelled on the British Elite Force, the Special Air Services (SAS).
