strengthen the country's economy, said Pehin Lau during a press

growth.
Thus, the people in the country
should appreciate all the efforts taken by giving their full support
to the government.

padi, a padi variety from Taiwan and Japan.
Also known as Honlai, the padi has
been planted extensively since last year and is now ready for
harvesting and would be marketed soon.
More than 30 workers, both locals and
foreigners, were employed to work at the paddy fields.
From his study and experience in the
agricultural sector for more than 20 years, Pehin Lau said that the
land in this country is suitable for planting certain padi varieties
extensively.
