Yayasan Nursery School Marks Islamic New Year

Bandar Seri Begawan - Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Nursery School held a celebration to commemorate the new Islamic Year Hijrah 1426 at Taman Asuhan Kanak Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Jalan Kebangsaan.

His Majesty's grandson, YAM Pg Anak Abd Raqiib bin YAM Pg. Maharaja Setia Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pg Anak Hj Abd Rahim from Nursery Pink took part in the event.

Also present was Cikgu Hjh Halimah binti Hj Maidin, the school principal.

The celebration began with the recital of Surah al-Fatihah led by Ustazah Noryashimah binti Md Yassin, followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Doa Awal Tahun Hijrah.

The event is one of the annual activities in the school calendar. It aimed to encourage the children to recite the Doa as their way of life. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
