Crown Prince Grants Audience To New Local Envoys

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muthadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan, received in an audience newly appointed Brunei's Ambassadors to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of the Philippines.

The ceremony took place this afternoon at Istana Nurul Iman.

His Excellency Pengiran Haji Sahari bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, the new Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Islamic Republic of Iran, received his letter of appointment from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-pertuan of Brunei on the 3rd of this month.

His Excellency Pehin Datu Panglima Retired Colonel Haji Abdul Jalil bin Haji Ahmad, the new Ambassador of Brunei to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, received his letter of appointment from His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei on the 5th of this month.

Her Excellency Emaleen binti Abdul Rahman Teo¸ the newly-appointed Ambassador Brunei to the Republic Of Philippines, received the letter of appointment from His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei on the 3rd of this month.

Also present at the audiences was Pehin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hazair, the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
