With Chinese New Year just around the
corner, Chef Wong of Li Gong Restaurant, The Empire Hotel & Country
Club has prepared a range of must have "Yee Sang" Specialities for the
Brunei Chinese Communities.
Perfect for family reunions in
ushering the Year of the Rooster, Li Gong will feature buffet dinners
as well as three different sets of menus during the evening of
February 8 and 9.
The specially prepared menus include
Chinese New Year favourites like Yee Sang, Baked Lobster with Cheese,
Braised Abalone with Fatt Choi, Dried Oysters, Stir Fired King Prawns
in Yam Ring and many more.
It is believed that the tossing of
Yee Sang in the Chinese New Year can bring good luck for the family.
The set menus are well worth its
value and with quality in mind, Chef Wong had worked hard to make sure
every little detail of the food he prepared is perfect, thereby
guaranteeing that the Chinese New Year cuisine is of highest quality.
Alternatively, guests can also opt
for the buffet where they will be spoilt for choice with the tempting
array of dishes featured. Priced at B$38.88 per person, the buffet
features a wide selection of oriental appetisers, main courses and
desserts including traditional Chinese prosperity dishes.
