New hair do for the New Year

Many Chinese women and their children are getting their hair done for a new look for a brighter Year of the Rooster. They have their hair coloured, tinted, perm, curled, rebonded, straightened, trimmed and cut to bring in good luck. It is always done every New Lunar Year or Chinese New Year festival, said Katty Hair & Beauty Salon manager Yvonne. They also have facial treatment.
