Dr Alwi Abdurrahman Shihab,
the Coordinating Minister for the People's Welfare of Indonesia, told Radio Television Brunei (RTB) that
His Majesty's day-long visit to Aceh further portrayed the
friendship between Brunei and Indonesia.
It also
reflected Brunei’s concern over the Tsunami victims in Aceh, he
said.
His
Majesty was the first foreign head of state to make such a visit
to Aceh.
Meanwhile, the Brunei humanitarian relief contingent in Aceh told
the RTB News that they were most touched by His Majesty's visit
to take a first-hand look at the relief operation.
The
relief contingent also expressed pride over His Majesty's care
towards them.
The
Brunei Humanitarian Relief contingent comprises of the Royal
Brunei Armed Forces, doctors and officials of the Ministry of
Health and the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation.
