Special Course
By Lyna Mohammad
Bandar Seri
Begawan - With the formation of RBAF Legal Unit, the Military
Court is expected to convene soon, said Lt Col Hj Abd Ghani Hj Abd
Wahab, the Acting Commandant of Support Services of Royal Brunei
Armed Forces (RBAF).
He disclosed this at the closing of
the Guideline for Investigations Course and Presentation of Course
Certificates Ceremony yesterday.
It was attended by 30 Military
Police personnel from Support Services, RBAF.
The presentation ceremony was held
yesterday at the Police Continuous Learning Centre in Beribi.
Lt Col Hj Abd Ghani noted plans to
apply working attachments for selected participants to the
Investigation branch of the Royal Brunei Police Force and the
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
He highlighted that the two-week
course attended by the participants is not enough to qualify them as
Investigating officers yet, as knowledge and experience are needed
to be gained from time to time to achieve the level of requirements
to be one.
He called on the participants to
apply the knowledge and guidelines they have acquired to be
efficient Investigating Officers.
He congratulated the participants
for successfully completing the course.
He expressed his appreciation to
the course conductors who are experts from the Attorney General's
Office, Royal Brunei Police Force and the Narcotic Control Bureau.
The course, he said was organised
for the first time by RBAF, with experts from participating
agencies, and displayed a positive step forward. --
