No Mails For Apartments And High-Rise Buildings Without Post Boxes

Bandar Seri Begawan – Buildings, apartments and flats without postal boxes put up in their premises will no longer receive their mail by February 1.

The Postal Services Department said that owners and tenants of these building should comply with postal regulations regarding postal boxes to be put up in these areas.

The department added that the requirement is in line with its effort to provide safe, efficient and prompt services to tenants in high-rise buildings and apartments.

This was announced to the public last December 2004 yet.

The same regulation was also announced in November 1998 and 24 February 1999 in accordance to the Postal Services regulations that was stated in 1993. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
