Bruneian Shopper Loses 4WD In Miri

Bandar Seri Begawan - A local education officer identifying himself as Hj Daud fell victim to car thieves when he drove his four-wheel drive to Miri Sunday.

His new dark blue Nissan Patrol was last parked at the Imperial Supermarket at noon.

When he returned to the carpark after doing his shopping, he realised that his car was gone.

He reported the incident to the Miri Police Station and was told that the police would investigate the matter.

Luckily, Hj Daud went to Miri with his relatives and was able to get a ride with them back to Brunei.

He told the Borneo Bulletin that he also reported the car theft to the Bandar Seri Begawan Police Station. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
