Tiger In The Bag And Some Hard Stuff Too In The Can

Bandar Seri Begawan - Muara police yesterday confiscated 58 cans of Tiger beer and 11 bottles of liquor in a raid conducted in Muara.

The liquor included three Dry Gin, each of Black Label. Bacardi, Penfolds Club, MaLibu, CockBurns. Dewans, Bamrock and Franzia. The raid was made following a tip-off from the public.

The raid was led by Pg. Kamaluddin B. Pg Dato Setia Pg. Hj Jaya, OCPD of Muara police district who led 12 police personnel including four officers.

A 47 year-old foreign worker who is the supervisor of the premises in Muara was detained for possessing liquor and beer, hidden inside a store without a permit.

All items were confiscated and were handed over to the Preventive Unit of the Royal Brunei Customs and Excise. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
