No chickens in sight

In view of the temporary freeze on the sale of live chickens, which was announced by the Chairman of the BSB Municipal Board, Awg Hj Saji bin Hj Mudin, last Friday, the usual place for selling poultry at the Tamu Kianggeh has been cleared. The ban was enforced as part of efforts to keep the country free of the deadly bird flu, which has affected over 10 Asian nations.
