BSP and QAF employees to attend training at Baker Petrolite's HQ

Two Bruneian employees from BSP's Production Chemistry Department, Ak Aminnor Rashid and Md. Salleh Zainuddin are to attend an intensive training course on Emulsion Treatment and Corrosion Control at Baker Petrolite's Headquarters in Houston, USA.

Also attending will be Sufri Gapar, a Bruneian currently working for QAF Trading Sdn Bhd in Baker Petrolite's organisation as a senior technician.

Baker Petrolite experts in each respective field will run the course for 3 weeks during February 2004.

Baker Petrolite, a division of Baker Hughes EHO Ltd, in partnership with QAF Trading Sdn Bhd, a member of QAF Group, is currently contracted to supply Production Chemicals and Associated Services to BSP's onshore and offshore facilities.

The company is committed to train Bruneian nationals from both BSP and Baker Petrolite/QAF as part of the company's scope of work in its current contract.
